Terms and Conditions
These terms are written as a practical starter for a rafting and tourism website. The structure follows the kind of topics commonly used on local adventure sites, but the text is adapted for this project and should be updated with your final business and booking details before launch.
1. General terms
These terms and conditions apply to the use of the Rafting and Food website and to all inquiries, reservation requests and communication made through the website.
The website is currently operated using placeholder business details until the final registration data is confirmed. Current placeholder details:
Rafting and Food
Alfonsa Pavića 43, 21208 Podgrađe, Croatia
2. Reservation requests and confirmation
Reservation requests may be sent through the website form, email, phone or other direct communication channels. A request sent by a guest does not automatically create a confirmed booking.
A booking is considered confirmed only after direct acceptance by the operator and after any required payment or additional confirmation has been agreed.
3. Information provided by the guest
When sending a reservation request, the guest is responsible for providing accurate and complete information, including contact details, preferred date, number of participants and any relevant health or participation information that may affect the activity.
4. Prices and payment
Prices shown on the website are for informational purposes unless otherwise stated. The operator reserves the right to update prices, inclusions, schedules and package details before a reservation is confirmed.
Accepted payment methods, deposit requirements, currency details and invoicing terms may be confirmed directly with the guest during the booking process.
5. Changes and cancellations
The operator reserves the right to modify, postpone or cancel an activity if this is necessary for safety, weather conditions, water levels, technical reasons or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Guests who wish to change or cancel a reservation should do so in writing by email or other agreed communication channel. Final cancellation deadlines, refund rules and rescheduling options should be clearly confirmed during the booking process.
6. Participation and safety
Some activities may require a minimum age, basic physical ability or compliance with guide instructions and safety rules. Guests must follow all instructions given by the guide or organizer before and during the activity.
Guests are responsible for informing the operator in advance about any medical condition, injury, pregnancy, swimming limitation or other circumstance that may affect safe participation.
7. Equipment and personal belongings
The operator may provide activity equipment as part of the service. Guests are expected to use provided equipment responsibly and follow all instructions relating to its use.
Unless required by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for loss, damage or theft of personal belongings brought by guests to the activity or left in vehicles, meeting areas or transfer transport.
8. Website content and external links
The website may contain descriptions, visuals, maps, social links and references to third-party platforms. While we aim to keep all information accurate, the operator does not guarantee that all website content will always be complete, current or error-free.
External websites are governed by their own terms and privacy rules.
9. Complaints
If a guest wishes to make a complaint about the website, communication or service, the complaint should be submitted in writing as soon as reasonably possible to raftingandfoodcetina@gmail.com so that the matter can be reviewed and resolved directly.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia. The parties will first attempt to resolve disputes amicably. If that is not possible, jurisdiction may be determined according to applicable Croatian law.
